York Minster, from the outside. Most of the construction work was around the windows.

Some of these heads were carved by journeymen and apprentices. Who apparently had a bit more of a sense of humour.

This is a seam, where the Chapterhouse and the North Transept meet. Where old architecture meets new(er).

This place was massive.

These particular windows were rather dirty.

The Great East Window. This is a gigantic print of what the windows behind would look like. Currently being cleaned (unlike the other ones). It's a huge, many year project, costing millions.
